Reuben Budiardja's Home Page
Welcome to my personal page.
On this site you can find stuff that about myself. There are some interesting and non-interesting links, useful (to some people) and useless articles, linux how-tos and tips that I wrote
or found, and a whole bunch of other stuffs.
About Me
I graduated from Goshen College with baccalaureate degree in Physics and applied Mathematics. I am currently a graduate student in University of Tennesee in Knoxville, TN, pursuing a doctoral degree in Computational Astrophysics. My graduate study is supported by research assistanship in the development of educational technologies (past) and development of Adaptive Mesh Refinement (AMR) code for Supernova and Neutron Star merger simulations, which is also my thesis topic.
My other activities includes the administration of several linux servers and a beowulf cluster running linux which we use for our research effort, development of web-based applications which you can read in my resume and portfolios, and other small projects that I do for fun.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing music, singing by myself or with a choir, and reading books. Guitar and piano are
my primary musical instruments, which I play regularly for
our church service.
